I wrote about the sale of boats seized by the Port of Port Angeles on October 21, 2010. At the time I featured two boats. Since that time the seizure notice has disappeared from the 20 foot sailboat and the Kenner Privateer has been posted on the Port’s website.  It can be seen at http://www.portofpa.com/marinas/impounded-boat-sales.html. Her name is given as Private Dancer and the auction is scheduled for December 10, 10:00 a.m. at the Port Angeles Boat Basin.
It seems like a good solid hull and cabin but it needs a new paint job and a new mast.  She is currently on jackstands in the storage yards along the jetty. I hope to she goes to a good captain. Maybe that could be you.
